Discipline

Discipline (noun; plural: disciplines)

  1. training that makes people obey rules or control their behaviour; orderly behaviour resulting from such training

  2. the ability to control yourself and make yourself do what is necessary; self-control

  3. a particular area of study or branch of knowledge; an academic subject

Cambridge Dictionary. (n.d.). Discipline. In Cambridge Dictionary

Discipline involves, amongst other things, setting certain guidelines or rules for oneself.

If one abides by them, then one has, so to speak, discipline.

As human beings, we cannot measure the extent to which someone possesses discipline. Our understanding, as human beings, of all the factors that influence a particular situation or behaviour is too limited.

The best thing would be for people to create their own rules, based on Free Will and with the help of The LIGHT.

Through experience, everyone gains a better understanding of which actions to take, which to avoid, and the consequences of both taking and not taking those actions.

In other words, what serves and what doesn't.

If you wish to make changes within yourself because your experiences have shown you that a different approach, action or habit yields a result which, based on your Free Will, you prefer, then there is far more power behind this than when you do certain things simply because others, authorities or scholars tell you that is how it should be.

In that case, it remains a theory, because the choice is not made based on an insight you have gained yourself, from an experience you have lived through.

Dogmas

Dogma (noun; plural: dogmas)

  1. principle or set of principles laid down by an authority, especially a religious authority, as unquestionably true

  2. belief or set of beliefs accepted without being questioned or doubted

Cambridge Dictionary. (n.d.). Dogma. In Cambridge Dictionary.

Many have drawn their own interpretations from The Word in the Holy Books which are not in accordance with The LIGHT.

Many have translated these interpretations into rules, institutions and practices which are not in accordance with The LIGHT and have nothing to do with the Message of The DIVINE.

Furthermore, human Free Will has not (always) been taken into account here.*

Every person on earth is their own Teacher.

The ideal situation would be for people to set their own rules (guidelines), for themselves, in order to achieve a particular goal, and to follow them of their own Free Will, without being instructed to do so by third parties, authorities, etc.

That is the future.

If one possesses sufficient wisdom, one realises that the things one does out of discipline are not sacrifices, but gifts to oneself.

Laws/regulations

The more people consciously seek The LIGHT within themselves, become aware of The LIGHT within themselves and learn to translate this into Actions in accordance with The LIGHT – the more a completely different world, standard and society will eventually emerge.

This happens naturally when these people commit themselves internally to The LIGHT, connect with and remain connected to The LIGHT, and  drawing on the inner wisdom, logic, insight and conscience that this entails, no longer wish to commit certain acts (such as murder, theft, manipulation, deceit and fraud), based on Free Will.

However, to reach this point, a person needs to have had many experiences of ‘the difference’: so that, step by step, they can become more aware of where their feelings and thoughts come from.

You see, all of this is based on Free Will.

One is free to act in accordance with the negative.

Every person is free to do so, but this leads to a different outcome.

And it is precisely this outcome that most people do not prefer.

The negative enslaves people and seeks to keep them enslaved. This is also why it can feel impossible for many people to change certain things. The negative seeks to prevent people from freeing themselves from that which manipulates them. The inner choices one makes towards freedom (the inner struggle) all have an effect, even if you cannot yet translate them directly into your actions.

The LIGHT sets people free.

It all starts with experience. The insights you gain from it lead, step by step, to different choices, based on Free Will.

DISCIPLINE.

The value and power of the disciplines you set for yourself, of your own Free Will and from the Heart, are of an entirely different order to those imposed by others.

*Please note that every person has a duty to seek THE LIGHT within themselves, and blindly accepting information from third parties, organisations or scholars is not in keeping with this.
